Give Voice Commands to Your Autonomous Car Through a Smart Wristband

You can give instructions to your autonomous car

Smart Wristband

The thought of talking to your car might just sound crazy, but Volvo and Microsoft have just proven otherwise.

Through the Microsoft Band 2 and the mobile app called Volvo on Call, people owning a Volvo autonomous car can connect with their cars through voice commands.

They can instruct their vehicle to perform tasks like setting the navigation, starting the heater, locking the doors, flashing the lights or sounding the horn whenever they feel like it. What the Volvo owners have to do is strap a wearable device over their wrist and speak to it, and that’s it.
