For the month of September, our cover story features ACWA Power, a private company known to provide electricity and desalination based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a portfolio of several power generation and delineated water production plants, ACWA Power has been in operation ever since it was founded in 2004. Its mission is simple: to reliably deliver electricity and desalinated water at the lowest possible cost. Some of its notable projects include the Nam Dinh in Vietnam, the Bokpoort Independent Power Project in South Africa, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai and the Noor I, II, III, Ouarzazate in Morocco.
