Top companies who have built and retained their best engineering team are following these three simple tips. There are a lot of elements to be able to build and retain a good team regardless of experience level, and there are some points that need to be taken into consideration in recruiting and retaining your members. Here are some tips for recruiting and keeping your engineering talents.

1. THE FIRST LEVEL NETWORK

When you have worked with someone in the past, you already know their technical knowledge, how they respond under high pressure, how they work individually or with a team, how dedicated and creative they are. It’s true, these can be answered from interview, but nothing beats experience working with the individual.

2. THE SECOND LEVEL NETWORK and BEYOND

Your best players will only want to refer other people whom they know have the right stuff to get the job done. No one wants to have a team wherein they can’t count on each other to help with the workload.

3. TEMP to PERM
