RJIL or Jio for short plans to offer cheaper data plans than those offered currently by India’s leading providers. Their plans will start as low as Rs 50 ($0.75) per Gigabyte and they will be keeping voice calls free of charge.

Jio’s 4G LTE development is said to be the largest deployment in the world and it covers 18,000 Indian cities including 200,000 remote areas. The company plans to broaden the reach to cover 90% of the country’s population by next year.
