World Record for the Longest Truck Jump

Red Bull’s Bryce Menzies recently made history by jumping his off-road truck 379.4 feet over a ghost town in New Mexico and set a new world record for the longest truck jump.

Red Bull’s Bryce Menzies recently made history by jumping his off-road truck 379.4 feet over a ghost town in New Mexico and set a new world record for the longest truck jump. The project was called “Bryce Menzies New Frontier powered by Pennzoil® Synthetics.”

The previous world record was 301 feet, and there also was an unofficial record of 332 feet. A Guinness World Records adjudicator watched Menzies launch from ramp to ramp in the Pro 2 race truck, and verified the distance and authenticate the new record.

There were numerous off-site tests and modifications done to Menzies 900-horsepower truck by awesome mechanics before Menzies was able to perform his word record jump. After six months of preparation, they were able to do it!

Unfortunately, Red Bull TV needed to cancel its live show because Menzies crashed after his 379 run, fractured his shoulder and destroying the truck
