Say goodbye to your low battery notifications and your impractically heavy and bulky power banks. Lucca Bozzi has begun their kickstarter project for their newest product, the Solar Wallet. Coming with a few unlikely features, perhaps the most intriguing part of this wallet is the fact that it comes with an internal battery that can allow you to give your phone up to 10+ hours of charge. Oh, and did we mention that the wallet is solar powered? That’s right! You can either choose to charge your wallet via the traditional USB cable method, or you can opt to use solar power when there is no electrical source available. And by solar power, the wallet actually means it can charge with any light source at all, even the office lamps and indoor bulbs at your home. Lastly, the solar panel within the wallet is 40% more efficient than the traditional solar panel, wielding more efficient results and faster charging time.

It’s also universal, allowing you to charge both Apple and Android phones.

Another extremely handy feature is their RFID lines pockets for your passports. This is great because in modern day technology, identity theft is easy to achieve by simply passing by you and scanning your passport without even touching it. With these RFID lines infused in the wallet, you don’t have to worry about these nasty passport skimmers and your identity being stolen ever again.

The last neat feature is the quick access pocket, to easily access your favorite bank, ATM, or ID card with one easy swipe. It can store up to 8 cards overall, and of course, it has a money clip to store all your cash.

The Kickstarter project for the Solar Wallet is still ongoing, with about 54 days to go as of the day this article was written. However, the project has already earned as much as $40,000, way more than their $5,000 goal. It has over 300 backers, and pledging for the project will allow you to pre-order the wallet to up to half of its retail price of $199.

With the rise of technology, devices have gotten way more advanced yet have grown smaller in size. Despite this, the use of battery power hasn’t advanced as much as our device’s processors, hence gadgets easily run out of battery very easily. This is what Lucca Bozzi hopes to solve with their Solar Wallet, hoping to give us fast and efficient on-the-go charging with a bunch of other neat features installed.
