They say that it is between 10 to 20 times brighter than the decorative lights that we usually use in December.

What’s a string filled with lights usually called? Christmas lights.

Because they are usually just used during Christmas to illuminate the environment and make us feel the holiday spirit.

But some engineers from Power Practical have revamped the Christmas lights into an everyday-use lights they now call as Luminoodle.

They say that it is between 10 to 20 times brighter than the decorative lights that we usually use in December.

Described by its makers as “the most adaptable, intuitive, and portable string lighting system ever created,” Luminoodle removes the need for a rope hanged with a lantern.

Because this string is already the lighting plus it is easy to install, outdoor activities at night are much more enjoyable with this, especially during camping.

This lighting solution, which by the way took off from a Kickstarter campaign, is powered by a USB port.

It is an LED light which is 5 feet long, offering brightness even when sprinkled with water as it is waterproof.

Luminoodle is totally surrounded on a single-piece silicone tube, which creates an IP67-rated, or able to survive in a 3-foot deep water submersion, waterproof light.

It is also flexible, and able to be hung, strung, hooked, stuck to, or wrapped around almost any object. Apart from its lighting function, of course it can be used as a substitute for Christmas lights or any decorative art.

There are two “modes” of use with Luminoodle. One is by letting it hang from end to end, using the Noodle Ties which are included in the purchase, or through magnets or loops.

The string will be able to light up the area with its length.

The other is by creating a lantern with the lights, stuffing the entire length of the string into a single contained nylon bag which is also part of the package. That way, it creates a concentrated light source capable of diffusing light and spreading it 360 degrees.
