This Engineer Made a Ham Sandwich that Really Looks Like Vin Diesel

William did it with such precision such that his stack of lasered ham really looks a lot like Vin Diesel.

William Osman, a mechanical and electrical engineer based in Ventura, California, posts YouTube videos regularly which he says are of “dubious quality, questionable integrity and unethical delivery.”

That’s why when users submit to him bizarre tasks that qualify to be a part of his growing YouTube channel, he does them without hesitation.

One of his most recent videos is a suggestion from a user named Restroom Sounds, who requested, “Please sculpt a bust of Vin Diesel using laser cut cross-sections of laser sliced ham.”

William, of course, accepted the challenge. Such is his cup of tea.

After choosing the cheapest supermarket ham for his new project, William took to his computer and used a software from Autodesk called the Slicer for Fusion 360, which slices the Vin Diesel model – his upper torso – for laser cutting.

He lasered the ham using the data from the software. The cut ham were used as the layers of the Vin Diesel deli sandwich.

“If Vin Diesel ever sees this, I’m sorry,” he says in the video. William went on to say, “This is one of the worst things I have ever done, like, in my life.”

I wonder though how a Vin Diesel deli sandwich tastes like.
