Cory Carson Raggie unveiled the Air Born Academy at the end of April 2016, to an audience including their Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, Deputy Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre and Parliamentary Representative Hon Emma Hippolyte.

According to Raggie, students will be able to interact with industry professionals from North America and work on different academy projects as they build their professional portfolio.

Cory, a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research in New York, created the Air Born Academy. He gained his audio engineering experience at Universal Records and he is a former head engineer at Platinum Beats Service, where worked on several projects with different internationally acclaimed artists like Wyclef Jean, 50 Cent, Damion Marley and Erika Badu.
