The “Strongest and Most Adaptable Material in the World”

Braeön, a material that’s “as strong as steel, as flexible as rope and as malleable as putty” has just completed their successful kickstarter campaign.

Braeön, a company that has launched their self-titled product that claims to be “The world’s strongest and most adaptable material”, has just successfully finished their kickstarter campaign with 1,839 backers pledging $74,981, surpassing the project’s $15,000 goal.

The product is a “high strength, lightweight plastic ribbon that molecularly fuses to itself in a matter of seconds”. It’s lighter compared to traditional rope, and has far, far more uses. From creating custom grips, handles, and harnesses, to being able to tow equipment, machines, and toys with ease, this material is a must have for every outdoor adventurer, or simply as a neat little material to have in your toolbox.

The product was designed to be light, but as strong as steel, is malleable even at low temperatures, is moisture resistant and can be painted on, is suited for extremely cold weather like when hiking in the mountains, and is adaptable to most scenarios in general.

Now, you’re probably wondering how this amazing material works. Well, it’s pretty simple

First, you have to heat the ribbon with hot air or liquid 60 Degrees Celsius or higher, which will then allow the material to become moldable.

Next, just adhere Braeön to itself to form a bond.

Finally, allow the material to set and cool for a few minutes. Once it has fully done so, the material fuses to itself on a molecular level in just a few seconds to form bonds as strong as steel. If you need to adjust or fix it, just simply reheat the Braeön.

Did your boat’s tow strap break while you were trying to load it? Just use Braeön to replace the winch strap. Braeön can tow up to 2,000 lbs in just a single strand.

Accidentally injured or dislocated your finger? You can also use Braeön to create a custom split to keep it still and secure.

Oh, and if you’re still doubting the material’s strength, here’s a bunch of muscular guys trying to tear the material apart to no avail
